Rui has been Nadara’s Chief Operating Officer since 2020, leading a number of departments responsible for the operational performance of our assets across Europe.Rui’s career in the wind industry began in 2004, initially in the technical and commercial management of training centres. Since then, he has been involved in the development and construction of more than 1GW of wind power generation capacity.Rui has a wealth of experience leading teams that manage operational assets across multi-geographies, focusing on operational excellence, performance improvement and asset lifetime maximisation, including repowering, overpowering and project hybridisation.
