Executive Board Member of Galp and member of the Executive Committee since January 2022, he is responsible for Renewables, New Businesses & Innovation.

He previously worked at Enel for 13 years in various roles, including Head of Regulatory Affairs for Enel Green Power (EGP) in Europe, Head of EGP in France, Head of Business Development for EGP in Europe and Latin America, Head of EGP Europe, and, more recently, Head of EGP North America.

He began his international career in the energy sector with positions at Scottish Power (Scotland), Fortum (England), Nuon (Netherlands), Gazprom (Greece), and ContourGlobal (Greece), in a variety of functions ranging from risk management, commercial plant management, and business development to power trading.

Georgios holds two Master’s degrees: one in Economics from the American College of Greece, and another in Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde.
