Graduated in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, he began his career in the energy sector in 1995 at Gellweiler, Lda., then the representative of ENERCON.

In this company, he played an active role in the development of wind energy, contributing decisively to ENERCON’s establishment as the market leader in Portugal among manufacturers, with around 50% of the installed capacity.

Throughout his career, with more than 30 years dedicated to Renewable Energy, he has always been a passionate advocate for Wind Energy. He was a key figure in the development and implementation of several landmark projects, including the ENEOP – Energias de Portugal project, which led to the establishment of the industrial cluster in Portugal.

In 2009, he joined ENERCON as Sales Country Manager, a position he still holds.
