She has been with VdA since 2001. Partner and Head of the Energy & Natural Resources practice area, she has recognized experience in the development and financing of projects across various sectors.

Over more than 20 years, she has been involved in numerous road projects, Public-Private Partnerships in the healthcare sector, water and waste concessions, as well as projects in the energy sector (including renewables), both in Portugal and in other jurisdictions where VdA Legal Partners is present. She has provided legal advice to administrative authorities, project developers, and financial institutions (in particular, investment banks).

In recent years, Ana Luís de Sousa has been particularly dedicated to the energy sector and its regulation.
